Started off with a little ministry report from the G3 Conference and my time in Pennsylvania. Then we talked a little bit about the Master’s Seminary controversy, then about the debate from Saturday afternoon, and finished up with a response to Costi Hinn about Doug Wilson and Michael Brown. An hour and twenty minutes. I forgot to provide the links I mentioned during the show, and am fixing that now. Here is the time-indexed link to the rebuttal in my debate together with Michael Brown, and here is the discussion of philosophical simplicity with James Dolezal and a Roman Catholic interviewer. Also, for those who haven’t seen it, here is my discussion with Doug Wilson on the Federal Vision issue.

Good Impressions from Peter Stravinskas Debate and legal threats over Barry Lynn Deba
James White, , The Dividing Line
On this “jetlag version” of the Dividing Line, Dr. White returns from a speaking and debate tour, saying that the recent debate with the Roman Catholic Peter Stravinskus was the best of all six “Great Debates” so far, and made very clear why Rome was in error on purgatory. Barry Lynn, who normally champions free speech as a lawyer with

Beth Moore Sort Of Explains…But Not Really
James White, , Christian Worldview, Exegesis, Godly Disciplines, Homosexuality, Post-Evangelicalism, Theology Matters
Given I spent a good bit of time yesterday going over the words Beth Moore originally wrote on the subject of homosexuality and then had removed recently I think today’s article she posted should be read carefully and fairly. Talked a bit at the start about cultural issues again, but then got back into Sam Zaatari’s comments in his recent debate with David Wood. I am getting backlogged with

James White, , Christian Worldview, Church History, Exegesis, Provisionism, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
A little shorter program today (only 75 minutes!) but diving into God’s decree and Isaiah 10 and its witness to the necessary understanding of compatibilism before moving into a review of Jonathan Merritt’s Atlantic article on “Christian Cruelty in the Face of Covid-19.” The Dividing Line 4/27/2020 Isaiah 10 and God’s Decree, Jonathan Merritt Tickles the Ears of the Elite

The Protection of Church Discipline
Rich Pierce, , The Dividing Line
Pastor John Samson is back to give his third teaching in a series on the Church, this time dealing with the often neglected subject of Discipline. A Church failing to exercise discipline among its members is an unloving Church, walking in disobedience to Christ. Here is the YouTube link:
