We are back on the road! Came to you live from somewhere in the wilds of Texas today, will be in Houston tomorrow with the “What is Marriage?” debate on Wednesday. Talked about some new plans we have for the travel portion of the ministry, then looked at JD Greear’s comments on the failure of the church to be a “safe place” for teenagers to “come out.” Looked briefly at some comments from Dr. Fesko against Dr. Van Til that will not age well, and then listened to the first question in a panel Q&A from 2015 where fundamentalist pastors pretend to answer questions about Calvinism. The full video will make a great Radio Free Geneva soon!

Rich Pierce, , Reformed Apologetics, The Dividing Line
In this episode we review the initial cross examination periods of both debaters. Cross examination is where the real debate takes place and a debater’s ability to interact with the answers to his questions is vital in using this time to communicate important things to the audience. The Trials and Tribulations of Kittenhood
James White, , Personal
I realize I am risking my baby-eating Calvinist image by mentioning this, but we have a new kitten in the White household. A feral kitten–at least in the sense that mother and father cat are wild (won’t let us get anywhere NEAR them). But, this kitten (ominously named Darth) is—well, utterly unique. Not only is she the cutest ball of

James White Promotes Worship of John Calvin!
James White, , Roman Catholicism
…or so Dave Armstrong alleges this morning. As an example of his methodology of argumentation (which often includes the, “Oh, look at that issue over there that is completely irrelevant to the point at hand, isn’t it interesting?” tactic), Armstrong’s attempted response to this blog entry begins by re-posting Dan Borvan’s picture from Geneva of the “Reformation Wall” with this

James White, , Christian Worldview, Exegesis, Reformed Apologetics, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line
I managed to resist the temptation to do the “politics talk” and finished up the introduction to sola scriptura today in a 90 minute program focusing upon the final sections of Karlo Broussard’s arguments on Catholic Answers Live, and then discussing two more important aspects, “Apostolic Tradition” in the early fathers as well as the issue of the canon. Not easy material

2 Peter 3:9 and the “Letterhead Argument”
James White, , Reformed Apologetics
This is surely the most popular passage cited (almost never with any reference to the context) to prove that God could not possibly desire to save a specific people but instead desires to save every single individual person, thereby denying election and predestination. The text seems inarguably clear. But it is always good to see a text in its own
