Stumbled on a Soteriology 101 video asking if I am “right” about Matthew 23:37, so we dealt pretty fully with that new presentation for the first ninety minutes, then touched upon some other topics including Bart Barber’s amazing defense of Ed Litton. Mega edition, two full hours! I head out on Road Trip #2, heading for G3, so programs for the next three weeks will be at odd times, so download the A&O App so you can know when we will be hitting the airwaves!

Rome and Mary: the Sad Reality
James White, , Abortion, Church Fathers, Church History, Misc, Personal, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line
After running our raffle and determining the winner of the wonderful Derek Melton blade, and after I spent some time talking about a neat and encouraging gift from a young man at Apologia, we turned to Roman Catholicism, Pope Francis, and the entire complex of Marian doctrines that are so utterly destructive to the gospel and to Christian experience. We

Response to Southwest Radio Church on King James Controversy, Part 3 (Dr. Waite)
James White, , King James Onlyism, The Dividing Line
Dr White continues to respond to SRC’s review of his book that did not seem represent or respond to the contents of the book, and correct misinformation about principles of textual criticism on the part of KJV Onlyists. They also rely on incredibly outdated information to defend the KJV Only view.

Yesterday on the DL
James White, , The Dividing Line
As promised we went through Dave Hunt doing his best impersonation of Schultz saying, “I see nothing, NOTHING!” from his radio program. Just a sad, sad thing. Then we had lots of callers (four, I think), to fill up the last half hour. Here’s the program.

My First Solo Flight on the Dividing Line!
James White, , Christian Worldview, Homosexuality, Persecution, Personal, Post-Evangelicalism, The Dividing Line, Transinsanity
I ran everything myself today, so even I am interested in how it turned out! Covered a lot of current events driven topics, which, being June, included a lot of cultural stuff, the sufficiency of Scripture, legal cases, the SBC, that kind of stuff. Touched lightly on eschatology, law, etc. Just over an hour in length.

Road Trip DL from Salt Lake City: A Little Riddle, a Little Muller
James White, , Debate, Misc, Pastoral Theology, Personal, Reformed Apologetics, Reformed Baptist Issues, Road Trip, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters, Thomism, TROnlyism
Was on the road for six hours today but still managed to sneak a program in this afternoon, looking a bit at my discussion with Doug Wilson on “paedocommunion” (he prefers “child communion” and there is, actually, a difference), then responding to Jeffrey Riddle on an odd take on semper Reformanda, and then finishing up with a little discussion on

Radio Free Geneva: Bob Coy and Calvinism, Part 2
James White, , The Dividing Line
We continued on with our survey and examination of Bob Coy’s “What’s the Point” sermon. Only covered a few minutes, since we took the time to go into such things as foreknowledge, etc. May press on with part 3 on Thursday, or, may take a break to answer some e-mail questions, I haven’t decided. We will see!
