About halfway through the program we had a power spike due to a storm blowing into Phoenix, but we got it all recorded anyway. First I dealt with the amazing explosion of infantile behavior by one Jay Dyer when I dared actually treat him like an adult in challenging him to defend Nicea II in debate. You won’t believe his behavior. Then we transitioned into an examination of the reality, acknowledged by all, really, that “presbuteros” and “episkopos” in the Greek New Testament refer to the very same office, a reality disputed by Joe Heschmeyer in our debate in Jonesboro. Enjoy!

Art Sippo Rewrites History
James White, , Roman Catholicism
It has been quite some time since I have mentioned the name of Art Sippo on this blog. After years of enduring his outrageous behavior, I challenged him to debate on his own pet topic in his own home town, and he would not do it. Amazingly, he cited how “mean” I am as a reason, which left just about

I’m (Not) Dreaming of a Woke Christmas
Robb Brunansky, , The Dividing Line
Some answers to your mask questions, don’t let the woke monster ruin your Christmas, dealing with anxiety, and an evaluation of the NASB2020’s “gender accurate” language. Continuing the Lynn/Spong Discussion
James White, , The Dividing Line
Continued the Lynn/Spong discussion, then went back to looking at Ahmed Deedat’s attacks on the Bible, and then tried to take a call that didn’t work out too well due to a less than spectacular phone on the other end of the line. Then briefly mentioned the statement on the upcoming Liberty debate.

What Do Jory Micah and Ijaz Ahmad Have in Common? A Textual-Critical Heavy Dividing Line
James White, , Islam, Textual Issues, The Dividing Line
I am sure this will give Ijaz Ahmad hives, but my point was that both Jory Micah and Ijaz are suggesting corruption of the Bible, but for very, very different reasons. The focus today is all textual critical, with lots of looking at graphics and considering variants and the like. I confess, it will be hard to just listen to

Please, Think Clearly About What is Charitable!
James White, , Roman Catholicism
The following just appeared on the Catholic Answers Forum: Mr White has been following this thread. On his website he states this: Over on the Catholic Answers forums a thread has developed calling for a day of fasting and prayer for my conversion to Roman Catholicism. I would like to encourage Christians to spend time in prayer asking God to

Caller Driven Show
James White, , The Dividing Line
Today was all caller driven, or I guess, net driven. I answered a Twitter question on Acts 16:31ff first, then Rich read a number of e-mail questions, and then we started taking lots of Skype and regular calls on…well, a wide variety of topics. This is about as close as I’ll ever get to doing my impersonation of a Bible answer guy

Christ’s Atoning Work: Intent, Extent, Union, Substitution, Ordo Salutis (Part I)
James White, , Exegesis
Both Eric Svendsen and I are very busy these days, and as I’m sure he will affirm, most of that busy-ness has nothing to do with Dave Armstrong. I have so many articles to write I can barely keep track of them all (in fact, I have this horrible feeling I’ve forgotten one), and an exciting book project to work

Leaked Roe, Cameron Bertuzzi and Isaiah 22
James White, , Church Fathers, Church History, Debate, Post-Evangelicalism, Reformed Apologetics, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
Back in the regular studio for the first time in over a month! Wow, glad to be in the old digs again. Anyway, had to talk a bit about the leaked SCOTUS decision about Roe and the explosion of simple demonic activity all around us. Then we started reviewing some comments made by Cameron Bertuzzi related to Roman Catholicism and
