I just noticed that Zazzle is having a $9 off tie sale starting right now. Why should you care? Well, some of you have seen the ties I’ve designed for various debates that have biblical manuscripts or the like on them. For that biblical-geek in your life, might be a great Christmas gift, and $9 off is really good. I was going to add another design, and may still do so, but for the moment, here is what I have posted:

How to Defeat Calvinism
James White, , Misc
I just saw this video (I may have seen it before, hard to remember), but I noticed it has more views than anything I’ve ever done on YouTube. I find that humorous. Apologies to Erasmus who gets burned instead of Servetus. 🙂

Update on our monsoon disaster
Rich Pierce, , Misc
We have lost the use of our main workshop and are setting up a makeshift work area in my spare bedroom. Please pray that we can recover the use of the room soon. I spent all day yesterday recovering the roof so the room should be watertight again. The ceiling needs to be re-insulated and and the drop ceiling replaced.

Ministry Resource List Update
James White, , Misc
I have updated the Ministry Resource List with a few items. The first is Tim Staples’ series on heaven, hell and purgatory. I have been communicating with Mr. Staples, and though he says he would “love” to debate, for reasons he cannot elucidate, he just can’t. James White, , Christian Worldview, Homosexuality, Misc, Personal, Post-Evangelicalism, Textual Issues, The Dividing Line

Apolonio Latar and Sola Scriptura I of II
James White, , Misc
Apolonio Latar’s article on sola scriptura was cited on the Catholic Answers web board recently, so I thought I would, once again, go over ground that has been covered many, many times. However, in light of the fact that most Roman Catholics are unwilling to read, at least in print, the responses to their own position, it is incumbant upon

Regarding Theological Dialogues
James White, , Misc
In the “olden days” theological dialogues took time. You might receive an article, or a book, from someone who lives far away, addressing your own views/publications. No one would expect you to respond the day you received it. In fact, everyone would expect that time would pass before a response would be offered. It was not only expected, it was

How Denominations Die, How Movements Crash and Burn
James White, , Christian Worldview, Misc, Musings, Post-Evangelicalism, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
Started off with some of the current developments on the world and national stage, then looked at the amazing example of the National Prayer Service yesterday morning in Washington, and the leftist “bishoptrix” at the National Cathedral. How do denominations die? Where do they begin? Then we moved on to how quickly the anon army is abandoning the positions they

Wow, old home week has begun! I just went down to have lunch with Mike O’Fallon and Bill Webster, and ended up running into c0ach, solaChristo, MarieP, Life, redgoatee, Dr. Renihan and his wife, Bill McKeever and his wife–we are taking over!
