Well, of all the folks I have challenged to call in and back up their various statements out there in cyber-land, only “Maximus” had the intestinal fortitude to do so, and he’s not a Roman Catholic, he’s an Arminian who had some less-than-kind things to say about me and my interaction with Dave Hunt. We had a nice chat for the first half of the program. Then Ben asked about the issue of authority in the early church, which led to a brief discussion of reading the early church writers. We will keep the phone lines open Tuesday morning for “Catholic Dude” and “Doug C” and all the rest of the kind folks, like GAssisi and others, to back up their statements. 🙂 Here is Thursday’s program.

Caller Driven Dividing Line
James White, , The Dividing Line
Well, I was going to address the rest of Steve Ray’s comments on Catholic Answers Live today. I had them all cued up. But even before the program began, we had calls. In fact, we filled the lines. As a result, we covered a very wide range of topics once again, from Islam to Roman Catholicism to John 1:1 and

A Dividing Line Today from London: Debate Report
James White, , The Dividing Line
I intend to do another DL today from here in London. Would like to report on my debate in London last evening with Adnan Rashid (I don’t know why Adnan wasn’t smiling in this picture, as he has a wonderful smile!). We had a great and blessed time, and a good group turned out as well. I will discuss the

Quite a range today! Lots of stuff about leaky vaccines, mandates, and the New Austrian Gestapo strolling through the streets of Austria saying, “Your papers, please!” It’s like no one reads books anymore. Then we looked at the contrast between the Chinese changing history and Isaiah telling us history is meaningful because God is its author. Then we dove into

Sola Scriptura and the Mail Bag
James White, , The Dividing Line
Today on the Dividing Line I spent the first half of the program responding to Bryan Cross and Frank Beckwith on the issue of sola scriptura. The fundamental attack upon the sufficiency of Scripture and hence its truly divine character and purpose in Roman Catholicism remains central to any discussion of the issues that separate us. Then I went to

Shabir Ally’s Objections to the Atonement
James White, , The Dividing Line
The majority of today’s program was focused on Shabir Ally’s objections to the atonement. But, I also added a special addition at the end of the program, where I played two songs from one man…a man who is…two men. Mylo Hatzenbuhler we have heard a few times before but, we haven’t before heard his “other side,” the more serious side,
