Talked a bit about our time at G3, then up in NY at New Hyde Park Baptist Church, talked a little about the New World Translation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and then started on calls, with discussions of 2 Cor. 5:21 as well as the eternal generation of the Son taking up most of the time.

Craig/Ally Debate Cross Ex Then back to Bryson
James White, , The Dividing Line
Went back to the Craig/Ally debate today to finish up the cross-ex portion and look at little more closely at original sin vs. “actual sin.” Then we went back to the Bryson presentation, and took a call on the textual variant at 1 Timothy 3:16. Also, don’t forget we will start the textual critical series on Thursday with some background

Why Celebrate the Reformation? Reason 187: Rome’s Marian Dogmas
James White, , General Apologetics, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line
Aside from a few technical hiccups and a bit of wandering about, spent pretty much the entire hour on Rome’s Marian teachings, looking in particular at where they came from. I read from such sources as the Odes of Solomon, the Ascension of Isaiah, and especially from The Protevangelium of James. Be warned! Some of this material is a bit difficult to listen

James White, , The Dividing Line
Since I had been given some reason to think Sheikh Awal has been following my reviews, I dove back into my response to his presentations.
